Groups, Team Building and Special Events

The Ferry Bocce League is pleased to introduce the game of bocce to your group via a private Team Building Event or Special Event.

Ferry Bocce League Events take place at the Embarcadero Plaza at the end of Market Street, on regulation size bocce courts.

Our events can accommodate as few as 20 people and as many as 100 (please inquire for groups large than 100 participants).  Event fees start at $1,250.00 but will change based on how many people are in your group. The following amenities are included in your fees.

Permits
Bocce equipment
Bartender
Beverages (water, soda, wine, and beer).
A bocce instructor will be on site to facilitate matches; officiate, organize, and to give pointers.  

Group

If your group is interested in having food on site, some local restaurants will deliver courtside.  But any food onsite will require a picnic permit from Rec. and Park, which we’ll obtain on your behalf and will cost $286.00.

Additional Costs:

The cost increase for every extra 20 people added to your special event is $400.00.

During League Play Days

Monday - Thursday 200-430 PM

1 - 20: $1,250.00

League Play Days are weekday afternoons Monday - Thursday between 200 PM and 430 PM.

Non-League Play Days

Fridays, and other off days 200-430 PM or 500-730 PM.  Times are flexible on off days, please inquire if you are interested in a different time frame.

Non-League Play Days are weekday evenings when league play is not happening, and we set up specifically for your event.  Fridays 200-430 PM or 500-730 PM, or other days of the week between seasons (inquire for a different time frame).

Setup Equipment Included: 7 Bistro tables (24”) & 14 chairs.

(No tables or chairs on grass.)

Kegerator is positioned in the center entrance and is not relocatable.  This is the best position for kegerator setup, security, entrance, wristband distribution, and, as directed by ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control).

The bocce courts at Embarcadero Plaza are the property of the Recreation and Park Department of the City and County of San Francisco.

The bocce courts are on a first-come, first served basis when not already reserved by us or others; bocce sets are available for loan at no cost from Bay Crossings (Shop 22), located in the center of the Ferry Building.
